Please address me as Ron, I am not a doctor. I received a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology with a Certificate in Neuropsychology from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1991. I have been in practice for 27 years. I am Licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists as a Licensed Psychological Associate with Independent Practice and as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (in consultation to Texas Public School and Special School Districts). I am a Clinical Member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association and member of the Texas Association of Psychological Associates. I have previously served for 10 years as an educator and on the Advisory Board of Parent Services Center of Tyler, Inc., and for 12 years on the Advisory Board of Region 7 Head Start, as well as various other local and State agencies and organizations. Finally, I am a general partner and the Clinical Director of Tyler Counseling & Assessment Center LLP.
Growing up in states from coast to coast, travel abroad, as well as raising my family in Texas and has given me a clear awareness of diverse backgrounds and cultures, and made me alert to widely varied individual needs and circumstances. I strive to see each client as an individual with sensitivity to each person's cultural, spiritual, and personal identification.
